The Well Work 360 Story

Meet Gillian Bane

Gillian Bane - Well Work 360

Gillian began her career in 2012 as an accountant, training in a Big 4 accountancy firm. After qualifying in 2015 she moved into industry and has worked in Dublin, Washington DC and London.

A few years ago she suffered a severe case of work-related burnout. During her recovery, she became passionate about health and wellbeing and particularly how it applies to the workplace.

This passion led her to study a masters in leadership in workplace health and wellbeing, graduating from TUS in 2023 with a first class honour. Her thesis focused on how organisational culture affects work-related stress in the accounting profession. This research is the first of its kind and is currently being prepared for submission as a research paper for publication. She hopes that it will help raise awareness about the mental health issues facing the accounting profession.

After completing her masters she decided to set up Well Work 360. This allows her to combine her unique business experience and passion for workplace health and wellbeing. Her mission is to empower organisations with strategic solutions that foster healthier work environments. She now works with organisations of all sizes, conducting in-depth assessments using the Well Work 360 Indicator Tool©, creating tailored wellbeing programs and delivering impactful talks and training.
